Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Assist customers with their orders, offering recommendations and ensuring satisfaction with their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary.
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards during food preparation and handling.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming environment, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Experience in the food industry preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to prepare food items as needed while maintaining quality standards.
- A genuine passion for coffee and customer service is essential.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
