Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable, observant, and safety focused individual to operate a License Plate Recognition (LPR) camera vehicle in support of our repossession operations. As an LPR Operator, your role is to patrol assigned areas and scan license plates using a mounted LPR system to assist our recovery agents in locating vehicles flagged for repossession.
This is a non-confrontational position (you will not be involved in the actual repossession of vehicles)
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate an LPR-equipped vehicle across designated zones to scan for targeted vehicles.
- Drive assigned routes efficiently, safely, and discreetly, both day and night.
- Use company provided equipment (LPR software, tablet, GPS, etc.) to log and upload data.
- Communicate sightings of flagged vehicles to dispatch or recovery agents in real time.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable driving long hours, including night shifts and weekends.
- Able to remain alert, observant, and focused for extended periods.
- Basic technical skills (tablets, mobile apps, LPR system operation training provided).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in security, surveillance, or repossession support roles.
- Knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and high-traffic areas.
- Familiarity with LPR or plate-scanning technologies.
