Responsibilities:
- Directly assist the sales team
- Reply to RFQ’s
- Data entry
- Inventory management
- Material sourcing
- Vendor communication
- Organize quotes for follow up
- Other duties as determined by management to assist with daily operations
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills
- Basic math proficiency
- Computer Proficiency (Word, Excel, Email platforms are required)
- Ability to communicate via live calls with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
This position requires availability Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm. New hires will train at the sales counter initially before graduating into the support department after 21-31 days on the job. During training, the initial schedule will run Tuesday - Saturday. Saturday hours will be 7:30am - 2:30pm. This is a requirement and is not optional. Once training is completed the schedule will remain permanent Monday - Friday.
Must be able to interact with clients and vendors over live calls and in person. This position acts as an in-office support function for our travelling sales department. All new employees will receive full software training.
