Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. Duties
- Oversee all housekeeping operations, including cleaning, laundry, and custodial services, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols
- Supervise and motivate housekeeping staff, providing training and guidance to foster a high-performance team
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met or exceeded
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; coordinate procurement with the general manager as needed
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance their experience
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles within hospitality or hotel environments
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team
- Extensive cleaning and custodial experience, including hotel or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of laundry operations and commercial cleaning techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and time management abilities
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety
