Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-minded Plant Operator to join our team at our Miller, Missouri facility.
The Plant Operator will assist with the daily operation of our asphalt emulsion and asphalt oil plant. This role will be outside in non temperature regulated environments. This position is responsible for safely operating equipment, monitoring plant processes, loading and unloading trucks, performing routine maintenance, and maintaining accurate operational records.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate plant machinery and production equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor equipment and plant processes to ensure proper operation
- Load and unload tanker trailers with hot Asphalt and Emulsion
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate production, inventory, and loading records
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all company safety procedures and environmental requirements
- Must wear long sleeve fire retardant pants and shirts
- Communicate equipment problems or operational concerns to management
- Assist with other plant duties as needed
Qualifications and Skills

- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to work safely around industrial machinery and petroleum-based products
- Previous plant, manufacturing, equipment operation, or maintenance experience is preferred but not required
