Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist clients in selecting jewelry pieces that match their preferences and occasions
- Conduct product demos to highlight features, craftsmanship, and styling options of jewelry items
- Upsell complementary products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts
- Handle cash register transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and conducting regular stock checks
- Communicate effectively with customers over the phone to answer inquiries and schedule appointments
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette to build rapport and promote ongoing customer engagement
- Supervise team members when needed, providing guidance on sales techniques and customer interactions
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewelry or luxury goods environments, but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math for transactions and inventory management
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership capabilities in retail settings
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and product demos to enhance visual appeal
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone
