Horizon Staffing Resources is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school-based team in Broomall, PA. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop communication skills and achieve their educational goals in a collaborative classroom environment.
As a school-based SLP, you will provide speech and language services, support students with diverse communication needs, and collaborate with teachers, classroom staff, and families to help students succeed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized speech and language goals aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet each student’s communication needs.
- Assess student progress and modify treatment strategies as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including therapy notes, progress reports, and service records.
- Collaborate with teachers, classroom aides, case managers, and related service providers.
- Participate in team meetings, staff meetings, and school-based planning sessions.
- Communicate effectively with families/guardians regarding student progress and recommendations.
- Support a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist License required.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification required.
- Previous school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
