Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including freight transport, route driving, and operating specialized vehicles such as intermodal containers, open deck trailers and heavy haul trailers. This role is crucial for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently to designated locations.
- Deliver cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo details.
- Follow established routes while being adaptable to changes as needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A with air brake endorsements
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and perform basic maintenance checks on vehicles.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and route planning.
- Excellent time management skills with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

Pay: $72,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
