Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Machinist to join our team. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for manually operating machinery to produce precision parts and metal components.
Day Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Job Qualifications/Skills
1 year minimum experience in machine set-up and operation
Experience with manual machine tools. Such as drill presses, radial drills, engine lathes, vertical milling machines, horizontal milling machines, surface grinders, vertical turret lathes, horizontal boring mills, hydraulic presses, and pedestal grinders.
Applicants must be skilled in checking parts against specified tolerances using micrometers, calipers, or other precision measuring tools.
Applicants must have strong mathematical, analytical and communication skills.
CNC experience would be useful, but is not required.
Applicants must be able to read blueprints/drawings.
Applicants must be able to safely operate equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, and trucks.
Applicant must be able to work and complete tasks under minimal supervision.
This positions requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
