Responsibilities
As a CarTronics Technician, you will:
- Install and integrate aftermarket automotive electronics and accessories, including car audio systems, amplifiers, remote starters, security systems, radar detectors, backup cameras, interior & exterior lighting, truck accessories, suspension components, wheels and tires, as well as marine and motorcycle audio & lighting, and other 12-volt systems.
- Integrate Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, OEM interfaces, and other vehicle technology
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, wiring, and integration issues
- Carefully disassemble and reassemble vehicle interiors while maintaining factory-quality fit and finish
- Test and verify every installation to ensure reliable performance
- Maintain clean, professional installations that meet CarTronics' quality standards
- Work with a team dedicated to delivering an outstanding customer experience
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and take on new projects with guidance and support from leadership.
Required:
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Performs well in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle electrical systems and wiring
- Basic tools required
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Dependable, organized, collaborative, and enthusiastic about cars and the latest automotive technology.
- Valid Tennessee Drivers License
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Preferred:
- Experience with car audio, remote starters, vehicle security, lighting, truck accessories, or other 12-volt electronics
- MECP certification (not required)
- Fabrication experience (dash kits, amp racks, custom installations)
- Experience with marine, motorcycle, or powersports audio
