Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of hot wings, burgers, and other menu items with precision and flair.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitizing procedures, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new flavors or specials based on customer preferences and industry trends.
- Manage food production during high-volume periods, ensuring timely service without compromising quality.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as grilling, braising, poaching, and food handling with skillful knife techniques.
- Support the team in food service operations by ensuring orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Follow all food safety management protocols to uphold health regulations and customer safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially with hot wings or burger preparation preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and proper kitchen hygiene practices.
- Strong culinary skills including grilling, braising, poaching, and general food preparation techniques.
- Experience with high-volume production environments and fast-paced service.
- Familiarity with menu planning, food handling, and catering operations is a plus.
- Excellent knife skills and understanding of food safety management principles.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
