Live-In Greek-Speaking Nanny | Woodbury, CT & New York City
Full-Time | Monday–Friday |A warm, welcoming family is seeking an experienced Greek-speaking nanny to become a valued, long-term member of their household. Their primary residence is located in Woodbury, Connecticut (Litchfield County), and they also spend approximately two weekends per month at their apartment in New York City.
The ideal candidate will be fluent in both Greek and English, as the family is committed to raising their son bilingually. Mom is a fluent Greek speaker and would love a nanny who can naturally incorporate the Greek language into everyday life.
Their son is a bright, affectionate, and highly verbal little boy who will be starting Pre-K this fall. He is thriving both emotionally and physically, has no developmental or behavioral challenges, and enjoys engaging with those around him. The family is looking for a loving, energetic caregiver who can provide nurturing guidance, create healthy boundaries, and encourage his continued growth through play, learning, and exploration.
ScheduleMonday through Friday
The family is flexible and is open to either of the following schedules:* 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.* 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (while their son attends Pre-K from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)The parents generally prefer to handle morning school drop-off but are open to discussing responsibilities with the right candidate.
Responsibilities* Provide exceptional care for one preschool-aged child.* Speak Greek consistently throughout the day to support bilingual language development.* Plan engaging, educational, and age-appropriate activities.* Foster creativity, confidence, independence, and curiosity through play and learning.* Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child.* Assist with the child’s laundry.* Maintain organization of the child’s bedroom, toys, clothing, and play spaces.* Keep child-related areas clean, tidy, and organized.* Support school routines and developmental milestones.*
Accompany the family on occasional domestic and international travel (travel experience is highly preferred).The Ideal Candidate* Fluent in Greek and English (required).* Minimum of 3 years of professional childcare experience.* Warm, energetic, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.* Naturally organized and appreciates maintaining a pristine, well-kept home.* Confident establishing loving, consistent boundaries while remaining patient and empathetic.* Reliable, professional, and seeking a long-term position.*
Comfortable working in a fully staffed household alongside a part-time caretaker and a housekeeper who comes several days each week.* Comfortable around two friendly Goldendoodles.* Passport and travel flexibility are highly preferred.Household* Primary residence: Woodbury, Connecticut (Litchfield County)* Secondary residence: New York City* Both parents primarily work from home, both in Connecticut and while staying in the city.* Beautiful 20-acre private property.*

Live-In Accommodations: This is a live-in position. During the workweek, the nanny will have a private bedroom and private bathroom within the family’s main residence. On weekends and during personal time, the family offers the use of a private guest house located on the 20-acre property, providing additional privacy and a comfortable place to relax and recharge
