Automotive Reconditioning Technician – Sewell Ford Lincoln
The Sewell Family of Companies is seeking a Reconditioning Technician to join our team, the individual will be responsible for inspecting, analyzing and troubleshooting vehicles & equipment to determine if further service work is required or recommended.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Recondition vehicles for pre-owned sales
- Receive repair orders from the dispatcher
- Perform work as outlined on the repair order efficiently and accurately by dealership and factory standards
- Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair
- Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Notify the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required and if repairs cannot be completed within the specified timeframe
- Keep documentation of all work performed
- Road-test vehicles when necessary or refer to the test technician
- Keep the shop area neat, clean and be able to always account for all dealership – owned tools
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any accidents to a manager or supervisor
Schedule: Monday- Friday 7:30am-6pm and assigned Saturdays 8am-5pm
Skills & Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Background and drug screening
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, the individual must be able to perform each job responsibility satisfactorily, have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record, complete a drug screening, background screening, and provide all government I-9 requirements. A combination of education, experience, and training is always considered.
