Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Pre-K 4 teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans that promote literacy, physical education, and overall childhood development while ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support student learning and development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's growth.
- Incorporate literacy education into daily activities to enhance reading and writing skills.
- Organize physical education activities that promote health, fitness, and motor skills.
- Utilize Montessori methods or similar approaches to facilitate independent learning experiences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience for all students.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and physical education activities is beneficial.
- Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is a plus.
- A background in Montessori education or similar teaching methodologies is advantageous.
