Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, ensuring their safety and fostering their development. This role involves working with infants up to preschool-aged children, helping them learn through play and structured activities while promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space that is conducive to learning.
- Provide first aid as needed and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in daycare or preschool settings is preferred.
- Proficient in behavior management techniques to support children's social skills.
- Ability to educate children through engaging activities that promote learning.
- Experience in toddler care, including understanding their unique needs and behaviors.
- Familiarity with first aid practices to ensure children's safety at all times.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children in a classroom setting.
