Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join a production team. This role is responsible for operating press brake machines to bend and form metal components according to specifications.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Operation
- Operate press brake machines for metal forming
- Perform routine machine checks to ensure proper operation
Quality & Measurement
- Read and interpret work orders and job instructions
- Ensure finished parts meet quality and tolerance requirements
General Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with additional shop tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Experience in metal fabrication or sheet metal industry
- Previous press brake operation experience
- Experience using measuring tools
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and materials
- Frequent standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift
- Physically demanding role requiring attention to safety and detail
