General Summary of Duties:
Responsible for communicating with new patients regarding appointment questions and availability. Maintains incoming provider referrals, voicemails, and website contact forms.
Essential Functions:
Answer new patient calls from messages on voicemail.
Complete demographic intake, including insurance information.
Send new patient packets through the patient portal.
Answer inquiries from the website.
Enter new patients into the schedule, monitor for canceled appointments, and verify all new patient appointments are filled in the schedule.
Monitor the new patient contact and waitlist.
Schedule re-establishing patients and outside semen analysis appointments.
Verify copayments.
Pre-collect for services.
Gather referral and authorization information.
Answer a high volume of incoming calls.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients.
Serve as back-up to the front office, as needed.
