Meyer Jewelers is looking for a motivated, hardworking Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team!
We are a family-owned jewelry store with a long history of serving our community, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has a strong attention to detail, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service.
As a Jewelry Sales Associate, you’ll help customers find meaningful pieces for everyday wear, special occasions, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, and everything in between. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of jewelry, including Pandora, pearls, fine jewelry, diamonds, engagement rings, and wedding bands.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and personalized customer service
- Sell and educate customers on Pandora, pearls, fine jewelry, diamonds, engagement rings, wedding bands, and other jewelry
- Assist customers with custom jewelry orders and special requests
- Help customers select engagement rings and guide them through the diamond-buying process
- Examine jewelry for loose stones, worn prongs, broken components, and other issues and determine when repairs may be needed
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and communicate repair needs to customers
- Assist with jewelry repairs, customer pickups, and order processing
- Clean and maintain jewelry throughout the store
- Organize showcases, displays, inventory, and merchandise
- Help create and maintain attractive jewelry displays
- Keep the sales floor and showcases clean, organized, and inviting
- Assist with opening and closing duties and general store responsibilities
- Work as part of a close-knit team to provide an exceptional customer experience

- Comfortable learning about jewelry, diamonds, gemstones, and repairs
- Willingness to learn and grow within the jewelry industry
- Previous jewelry or retail sales experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
- Ability to work at least 2 Saturdays per month
- Ability to work well independently as well as with a team
