American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology (IR) position in Cedar Rapids, IA, requiring a minimum of 30 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit with 9 beds
-
Patient population includes prep/post-care for vascular and IR procedures
-
Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3

Monday through Friday, day shift schedule with 5x8-hour shifts flexing between 0600–1000 start times and 1800 end time, 40 hours per week

No on-call or weekend requirements

Epic EMR in use; experience required

Active Iowa RN license or compact RN license required

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA-issued)

Minimum 30 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting required

Pre- and post-op/recovery experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting highly preferred

Driver's license required for consideration

Supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 24 months preferred for consideration

Candidates who have been employed by the facility as an FTE or PRN (including float pool) within the past 12 months are not eligible for this position

Coverage for 1–2 of the following summer holidays is required unless the unit is closed: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day
