Day Block Brewing is Hiring!
All applicants will train in as bar back for a period of time and advance as you become familiar with Day Block Brewing. This could take 1-3 weeks or longer depending on performance and experience. Ideal candidates will include submitting a resume and LinkedIn profile.
This is a PART TIME role with an expected 2-3 shifts per week, but occasionally as many as 4 shifts per week. Availability during US Bank Events and Viking game days is expected.
Bartender Responsibilities
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
- We are a brewery first, but we also have a cocktail program including NA drinks
- Interacting with customers, taking orders and serving snacks and drinks
- Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations
We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Great bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers' expectations, discuss in detail the craft beer offerings, and recommend food pairings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Prefer candidates with high volume experience
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
