Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Case Manager with basic litigation knowledge and at least 1–2 years of experience in a legal or case management role. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, a team player, and willing to learn and grow within our firm.
Key Responsibilities
As a Case Manager, you will assist attorneys and support staff in managing personal injury cases from intake through litigation. Typical duties include:
- Manage and track assigned cases, including documentation, deadlines, and calendaring.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear, empathetic communication.
- Coordinate and obtain medical records, bills, and supporting documents.
- Assist with drafting and preparing litigation support materials and communications.
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate case files, notes, and correspondence.
- Support attorneys in all stages of litigation as appropriate.
- Lien resolution/ subrogation
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in personal injury case management, litigation, legal support, subro/lien resolution or related role preferred.
- Basic knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology.
- E-filing experience.
- Basic drafting experience such as pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to team success.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and willingness to learn legal case management software.
- Professional demeanor and positive attitude, comfortable interacting with clients, attorneys, and medical/legal professionals.
Preferred (but not required)
- Experience with legal case management systems
- Prior experience in a law firm environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
