Infusion Registered Nurse
Shift - 3x10hr shifts, 7:30a-6p (no weekends or holidays).
Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Infusion Registered Nurse, where your expertise will make a meaningful difference in patient care. In this vital role, you will provide specialized infusion therapy, including IV infusions, medication administration, and patient assessments.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV infusions, injections, and medications accurately following aseptic techniques and established protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiology knowledge to tailor infusion therapies.
- Monitor patient responses during infusion procedures, managing acute pain or adverse reactions promptly and effectively.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation within EHR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on infusion procedures, post-treatment care, and medication management to promote understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with physicians and specialists in ophthalmology, cardiology, or infectious disease care to coordinate treatment plans.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required; BSN preferred
- Outpatient chemo infusion experience is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in oncology required
- RN License in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
- Current BLS from AHA

Pay: $57.00 per hour
