We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Vehicle Sales Associate to join our team at Chapman Auto Group. As a Vehicle Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing them with tailored solutions that enhance their car-buying experience.
Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and preferences.
- Present and demonstrate vehicles, highlighting features and benefits to potential buyers.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and communication with leads.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of dealership inventory, including specifications, pricing, and promotions.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers in understanding financing options and payment plans.
- Participate in outbound sales efforts to generate new leads and expand the customer base.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within an automotive or retail environment.
- Strong understanding of the sales pipeline process and effective closing techniques.
- Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in math, particularly retail math, to assist customers with financing options.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele.
- A passion for automobiles and a desire to help customers find their ideal vehicle.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required.
