About the Role:
The Camp Supervisor Summer position is crucial for ensuring a safe, engaging, and enjoyable experience for all campers. This role involves overseeing daily camp activities, managing staff, and fostering a positive environment that encourages personal growth and teamwork among campers. The Camp Supervisor will be responsible for implementing camp programs and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. Additionally, this position requires effective communication with parents and guardians to provide updates and address any concerns. Ultimately, the Camp Supervisor plays a key role in creating lasting memories and impactful experiences for campers during the summer season.
Minimum Qualifications:

Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.

First Aid and CPR certification.

Experience in program planning and implementation.
Responsibilities:

Plan and implement activities.

Compile supply lists for activities.

Organize and transport supplies for program daily.

Supervise staff during daily activities.

Assist Director in collating program supplies.

Assist Director as needed.

Manage and supervise daily check in and check out of campers.

Manage and supervise staff and campers during field trips.

Constant interaction with campers and staff during program hours.

Restock supplies for bins, including first aid kits, as needed.

Manage permission slips, waivers and any other field trip paperwork.

Order pizza weekly for pizza day.

Take pizza day beverage orders and manage pizza paperwork.

Maintain discipline among campers. Provide direction as needed.

Stay with campers until they are picked up at end of the camp day.

Willingness to stay beyond schedule hours for paid additional time if needed.

Enthusiastically and attentively lead, support and motivate campers as they enjoy group activities and events.

Report to Camp Director or Recreation office.

Supervise daily camp operations and activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Lead and mentor camp staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and engagement.

Plan, organize, and implement a variety of recreational and educational programs that cater to the interests and needs of campers.

Monitor camper behavior and address any issues that arise, promoting conflict resolution and positive interactions.

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding camper progress, safety, and any relevant updates.
