American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with pediatric experience for a 13-week outpatient PT assignment in Colorado, working four 10-hour day shifts Monday through Thursday.

Primarily outpatient pediatric PT setting, with occasional assistance covering inpatient acute care and potential for early intervention work

Common diagnoses include developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic conditions

Caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day

Facility features a warm water therapy pool
-
Schedule is four 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, with very rare occasional weekend on-call

Clinicians schedule their own patients, with blocked time for inpatient evals and documentation

Epic EMR used in this position

No holiday coverage required

13-week contract

Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience required

Some pediatric PT experience required

Active CO PT license required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification (AHA) required; pending certifications are not accepted

A driver's license must be provided for consideration

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates; driver's license is used to confirm permanent address

Candidate will work alongside one pediatric PTA and report to an OTR supervisor

One week of on-site orientation is required; clinicians must be in-state for the orientation week even if initial modules are completed remotely

Scrubs or business casual attire accepted

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility (including CHI and/or Dignity) within the past year are not eligible; candidates who worked PRN through outside firms will be considered

Travelers are expected to float within the zone they are hired into and are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet this requirement
