Hope's Horizon (Perry Hall, MD), a alcohol and drug treatment facility, is looking for Behavior Technicians to join our growing team.
Behavioral Techs are responsible for observing, supporting, reporting and redirecting clients as needed. Techs are responsible for working with the admissions and facility staff to assure exceptional client and community satisfaction, and in the development and achieving community education and awareness goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have a valid Nottingham, MD driver’s license, good driving record and be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to undergo a background check and a drug screening
- Behavioral health: 1 year (Preferred but not required)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in substance abused preferred.
- Adult 18+
Duties:
- Collect data and monitor behavior trends during sessions
- Collect information and maintain comprehensive notes during sessions
- Attend weekly meetings with management as part of the training process
- Attend mandatory annual meetings as part of training and development opportunities
- Participate in staff training and ongoing clinical training as needed
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed and maintained
Job Types: Full-time/Part-Time
Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
