Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our hospitality team. The pay rate for this position is $15 per hour plus tips. Bartenders also receive 50% off meals both on and off shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area according to food safety standards
- Accurately handle cash transactions using the POS system
- Manage multiple orders efficiently through effective time management and multitasking skills
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and policies
- Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and glassware as needed to ensure seamless service during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender is highly desirable
- Ability to carry 50+ pounds up two flights of stairs
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume service periods smoothly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with serving food and beverages in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred
