We are seeking hospitality driven Servers to join our Wood-n-Tap team in Southington, CT. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take guests orders and suggest menu selections
- Serve food and beverages to customers promptly and with attention to detail
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or special requests
- Clear tables and maintain cleanliness in the dining area
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new customers
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of sanitation regulations and food safety practices
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
