Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of trucks, including dump trucks, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of freight to our clients while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Operate and drive different types of trucks, including roll-off, dump, tanker, flatbed, and refrigerated trailers.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of manual transmission operation.
- Familiarity with various truck types such as roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tankers, flatbeds, and refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- Ability to handle freight safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety practices and adherence to all transportation regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.62 - $0.70 per mile
