Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Breakfast Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook breakfast items following established recipes, menu plans, and food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, poaching stations, braising pots, and food processors efficiently and safely
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with sanitation and food safety sanitizing protocols
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting innovative breakfast options and maintaining consistency in food presentation
- Manage food production during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment through regular sanitizing procedures
- Adhere strictly to recipe guidelines, portion control, and dietary department requirements to meet guest expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food service environment is a plus.
- Skilled in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Demonstrated proficiency in knife skills and food handling practices
- Experience with dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
