Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
Experience
- In addition to education, this role typically calls for up to two years of relevant professional experience.
- Working knowledge of piping plan standards and related governmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability with application of math, algebraic formulas, calculus, and statistics.
- Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and software such as AutoCAD, Stoner, Excel, Access, and/or other relevant software.
- Experience and training related to:
- Interpersonal/communication skills
- Customer services field policies and procedures
- Transmission/distribution pipeline operations
- Company/governmental operating and safety procedures
- Line extension and relocation policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize problems or specific situations and coordinate appropriate action/response.
- Demonstrated ability to research and prepare pipeline construction contracts, pipeline capacity lease (PCL) requests, budget projects, job orders, material requisitions, engineering studies, and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, specifications, charts, surveys, load studies, and various reports and correspondence.
- Demonstrated ability to interact, negotiate, advise, and communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop information and make presentations to groups and individuals.
Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English.

Licenses and Certifications
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
Applicable driver's license required.
Additional Requirements
- Mobility to travel in and around plant and office facilities and around job sites out of doors.
- Able to operate tools and equipment required.
- Communicate and/or exchange information; conduct oral presentations.
Visual abilities sufficient to perform job duties.
