A Clinical Engineering (CE) Technician II participates in equipment planning, research, support and departmental projects and installs, maintains and repairs medical equipment at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus.
A caregiver in this position works 6:00AM – 2:30PM. This is a PRN position, meaning the schedule is as-needed. The minimum requirement is to work 48 hours in a 6 week scheduling period. Any additional hours would be based on department need.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide routine and as needed clinical engineering services (repair, maintenance, relocation, installation, etc.) for equipment.

Physical Requirements:
Physical demands include ability to move 75 pounds; to climb 8-foot ladders and work on overhead equipment.
Ability to work in prone positions and in confined, darkened areas.
Manual dexterity to use tools and work on small mechanical parts.
Visual acuity sufficient to distinguish colors used for wire color coding and read finely printed blueprints and schematics.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $34.00
Maximum hourly: $34.00
