Position Title: Jr. Account Manager

Compensation: 60-75K Salary
Position Summary
The Buckner Company is seeking a Junior Account Manager / Account Manager to support and service a commercial lines book of business. This position works closely with Producers, Client Advisors, carriers, and clients to manage new and renewal business while delivering exceptional customer service. The position may be filled at either level based on the selected candidate's experience and qualifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:-
Assist with and/or independently manage a commercial lines book of business.

Market, analyze, and service new and renewal accounts.

Prepare submissions, review carrier quotes, and develop renewal proposals.

Attend pre-renewal and renewal meetings as needed.

Review policies to ensure coverages, limits, and forms are accurate.

Process endorsements, renewals, certificates, binders, audits, and other policy changes.

Maintain accurate account documentation within the agency management system.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.

Provide timely and professional customer service.

Stay current on market conditions, coverage forms, and industry trends.

Pursue continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:-
High School diploma or equivalent require

6 months to 2 years of commercial insurance experience preferred for Junior Account Manager level

2+ years of commercial lines account management experience preferred for Account Manager level
-
Applied EPIC experience preferred

Experience with Utah HOA/community association accounts and construction-related accounts strongly preferred.
Licenses or Certifications:-
Active Utah Property and Casualty license required; Utah Life & Health license desired

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and agency management systems.
Physical:

The employee is also required to sit for long periods of time often in front of a computer monitor and operate a computer keyboard. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
