Job Environment:
This is a hot and physically demanding position that requires working in a dirty manufacturing environment.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs frequently (up to 50 lbs with assistance)
- Ability to read and follow work instructions
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to cross-train and work in other production areas
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification
Job Duties:
- Prepare and operate mixing equipment to produce quality products
- Weigh and verify materials according to production requirements
- Inspect materials and finished products for accuracy and quality
- Identify chemical labels and maintain inventory accuracy
- Complete production paperwork and weighment reports
- Operate rubber mixing and processing machinery
- Load and unload materials from skids
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist with packaging, maintenance, and other production tasks as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged standing and frequent walking
- Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and climbing stairs
- Ability to work in hot conditions during summer and cold conditions during winter
Shift: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:30 PM (Overtime available)
