Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard 21+ to safeguard our premises and ensure a safe environment for all staff, visitors, and assets. This role involves monitoring door, patrolling designated areas, and responding swiftly to incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations with confidence. As a key member of our security team, you will uphold safety standards and enforce security protocols diligently to maintain a secure environment.
Core Responsibilities
- Access Control: Check IDs, enforce dress codes, and prevent unauthorized or overly intoxicated individuals from entering. Physically searching and patting down guests.
- Crowd Management: Monitor room capacity and keep walkways clear to prevent safety hazards.
- Conflict De-escalation: Calm down tense arguments before they turn physical using strong communication skills.
- Ejections: Escort disruptive or violent guests out of the building calmly and firmly.
- Incident Response: Write reports for injuries or fights and call the police when needed
Skills
- Strong communication skills conducting visual inspections.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse audiences.
- Physical security expertise including patrolling, loss prevention strategies, and heavy lifting capabilities.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to compliance with security regulations.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
