Duties
- Assist customers with product selection, answering questions and providing personalized recommendations based on their needs.
- Process cash transactions accurately, including handling cash drawers and performing retail math calculations.
- Check IDs and ensure compliance with all alcohol sales laws
- Assist with inventory and deliveries as needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Maintain organized records of sales transactions, cash flow, and inventory to support efficient store operations.
- Keep the store clean and presentable at all times
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with retail store environments is preferred.
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations.
- Experience with banking or financial services is a plus, especially in retail lending or loan processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to handle cash drawer responsibilities accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and cash management.
- Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is a plus (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Able to drive for local deliveries
