Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. Must be available nights and weekends and not leaving for college in August. This job will run through October.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros software.
- Provide recommendations on menu items based on guest preferences.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining proper sanitation standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and basic culinary techniques is preferred.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Micros systems is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
