Barnett Kia in White Bear Lake is seeking a full time Automotive Service Technician with prior experience to join our very busy service department. We have a brand new state of the art facility just opening, including air conditioning for our shop and all the latest technology and setups! This position comes with FULL UNION BENEFITS which net out a considerably higher rate of pay when factored in. Barnett also pays our technicians a quarterly loyalty bonus on top of their benefits and hourly pay, which can be a very significant amount. Light Duty Techs start at $22.63/hr and there are also opportunities to achieve higher hourly rates based on production benchmarks. Again, the position includes full union benefits...Health, Dental, Life, Disability, Pension. A company 401K plan is also available.
Typical work schedule: 8 hour day shift Monday-Friday. We are closed Saturdays so NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS!

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
- prior technician experience
- Must have own tools to perform the job
- Must have valid driver’s license and relatively clean record
- Properly diagnosing, repairing, and documenting services on all types of vehicles.
- Effectively communicate diagnosis to service advisors
