Job Summary

Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential and commercial spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and outdoor work as needed
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure health and safety standards are met or exceeded
- Operate various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools efficiently and safely
- Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or uniforms
- Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines for manual handling and heavy lifting
- Maintain cleanliness of surfaces, floors, bathrooms, kitchens, and other designated areas with precision
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled windows while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with housekeeping management duties when required, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness expectations
Experience
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments such as janitorial or custodial roles
- Hands-on experience with floor cleaning techniques including carpet care and outdoor surface maintenance
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, sanitation products, and proper handling of cleaning equipment
- Prior hotel or hospitality housekeeping experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and manual handling practices
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work outdoors when necessary
- Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
