Position Summary
Reporting directly to remote ownership, Plushology® is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Director of Marketing to build and lead a scalable marketing function that drives increased and measurable business growth across our custom plush, print-on-demand, licensed merchandise, and branded products business model.
This is a hands-on leadership role. While the Director of Marketing will help develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy, they will also be responsible for a significant portion of the day-to-day execution. The successful candidate must be comfortable working both at the strategic and tactical levels, including HubSpot administration, campaign development, marketing automation, reporting, content coordination, and demand generation.
This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a highly autonomous environment and enjoys building systems, processes, and programs from the ground up.
What You’ll Do
· Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
· Own and optimize HubSpot, including CRM management, workflows, automation, lead scoring, reporting, and customer journey development.
· Establish marketing processes, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting systems.
· Build and execute demand-generation campaigns that create qualified sales opportunities.
· Partner closely with sales leadership to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline visibility.
· Strengthen Plushology®’s brand positioning and market presence.
· Manage external agencies, vendors, and marketing resources.
· Create a scalable marketing foundation that supports future growth.
Qualifications
· 7+ years of progressive marketing experience.
· Demonstrated success in demand generation, growth marketing, and marketing automation.
· Advanced HubSpot expertise required.
· Experience with CRM management, workflow automation, reporting, and analytics.
· Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
· Experience managing agencies, vendors, and marketing budgets.
· Ability to work independently and thrive in a highly autonomous, collaborative environment.
Preferred Experience
· Experience in promotional products, branded merchandise, print-on-demand, wholesale distribution, licensing, attractions, tourism, retail, custom manufacturing, e-commerce, or related industries.
· Experience marketing to B2B buyers, DTC brands, retailers, attractions, licensing partners, or franchise organizations.
· Familiarity with relationship-driven and consultative sales environments.
