Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items accurately and efficiently according to established recipes and standards
- Manage customer orders with enthusiasm, upselling menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales
- Handle cash register operations, processing cash transactions with precision and providing excellent customer service
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and food handling protocols
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Operate kitchen equipment safely to support food preparation activities while following all safety guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS for processing transactions accurately
- Ability to handle cash register operations and process cash transactions confidently
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash and managing sales totals effectively
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a busy environment
