Position Overview
We are currently hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support residents in long-term care facilities. As a CNA, you’ll be a vital part of the care team, helping residents with daily activities and ensuring their comfort, dignity, and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain cleanliness and a safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with nurses, residents, and families
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in the state of New York
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but not required
- Reliable, compassionate, and team-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and care
