This is a part-time, Hybrid model, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner role based in the Clewiston area of Florida.
One location at Skilled Rehab Facility
This is an incentive based model with potential for salary. Paid as a 1099 independent contractor. No benefits. Will be covered under Attending Physician Malpractice.
The PA/Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care, including conducting physical assessments, diagnosing and managing medical conditions, and coordinating treatment plans. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring optimal patient outcomes, and offering education and support to patients and their families.
Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate medical records and adhering to regulatory and organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Advanced clinical skills in patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
- Strong knowledge of medical procedures, primary care management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with team members and educate patients and families
- Proficient in maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations
- Licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and appropriate certifications
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, onsite healthcare environment
- Experience in rehabilitation services or related clinical settings is a plus
- DEA license preferred
Pay: $400.00 - $450.00 per day
