Job Summary
TriWorks Hot Rods is looking for a skilled Fabricator and Mechanic who can build, modify, and mechanically revive classic vehicles. This position requires a unique blend of custom metal fabrication skills and strong mechanical installation and troubleshooting. We want a motivated individual and true team player who stays focused and driven to see complex builds progress from the early stages all the way to completion. We are expanding and moving into a brand-new building and we need you to come along.

Responsibilities
- Fabricate custom brackets, mounts, suspension components, and exhaust systems.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
- Execute chassis modifications, floor pan replacements, and rust repair.
- Install and wire high-performance engines, transmissions, and aftermarket components.
- Upgrade steering, performance suspension setups, and modern braking systems.
- Install and plumbing aftermarket climate control systems.
- Keep shop workspaces clean, organized, and clear of hazards.
- Monitor material supplies per project and assist with stocking fabrication hardware and materials as needed.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues.
Qualifications
- Must have 3–5+ years of direct experience in custom hot rod fabrication and classic car mechanics (Required).
- Highly motivated team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can manage a project from start to finish.
- Deep knowledge of aftermarket performance parts and automotive electrical wiring for classic cars.
- Familiarity with LS and Coyote engine swaps and performance suspension systems.
- Experience installing Vintage Air systems is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding, as well as operating standard shop machinery.
- Must have your own standard mechanic and fabrication hand tools.
- TriWorks will provide specialty equipment to do your job efficently.
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
