The Team Specialist supports the daily operations of Gymkhana’s Competitive Team Program by helping provide a positive, challenging, and organized environment for athletes, coaches, and families. Working closely with the Team Director, this position assists with athlete development, coach mentoring, program organization, and daily operations while helping ensure a consistent, high quality experience throughout the program.
The Team Specialist serves as a leader within the Team Program by modeling excellent coaching, supporting staff, communicating with families, and helping athletes reach their individual goals in a safe and encouraging environment.

Lead practices and provide high quality instruction to competitive team athletes.

Support the Team Director with the daily operation of the Team Program.

Help ensure consistent coaching techniques, lesson planning, and athlete development throughout the program.

Observe practices and provide constructive feedback to coaches when appropriate.

Assist with athlete evaluations and progression decisions.

Build positive relationships with athletes and families through professional communication.

Help maintain attendance records, practice organization, and team communication.

Assist with meet preparation, special events, clinics, and team activities.

Ensure all safety standards, gym policies, and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe training environment.
