Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential care and support to our clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Duties
- Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and cleaning to maintain a tidy living space.
- Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Foster a positive relationship with clients, promoting their dignity and independence.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or senior care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and basic caregiving skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with clients and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical record systems is a plus.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.
