JOB SUMMARY:
K&S Manufacturing is currently seeking a Material Handler 1st Shift.
To ensure that product processed from metal stamping punch presses meet the specifications of the customer.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS:
- High School education supplemented by on-the-job training, including outside training.
- Min. 5 years forklift experience in tooling setup of large tools (greater than 10,000 lbs).
- Experience working a manufacturing environment a plus.
· Strong industrial math skills and attention to details.
· Ability to learn tasks, and follow directions, including use of measurement equipment.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
· Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
· Successful completion of Pre-Employment physical.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Load/unload stamping dies up to 20,000 lbs, transfer materials/containers, unload trucks with incoming steel for stamping department.
· Perform incoming inspection on coil and receive material into system.
· Provide assistance for stamping tooling set-up.
· Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system.
· Support the commitment to a safe work environment as stated in the safety vision and the safety manual.

- Close and distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
