Position: Assistant Maintenance Technician
Overview:
We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Technician to join a cosmetics manufacturing facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid mechanical experience who's comfortable working with production line equipment and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment including timing components, gears, and conveyors
- Perform machinery changeovers between product runs
- Calibrate filling nozzles, sensors, and label applicators for different product sizes and formats
- Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments to diagnose and repair equipment
- Work with basic PLC systems, sensors, and limit switches
- Support day-to-day maintenance needs to keep production running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on maintenance or mechanical experience, ideally in cosmetics or a similar manufacturing environment
- Comfortable working with hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of PLCs, sensors, and limit switches
- Experience with machinery changeovers and equipment calibration
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on the production floor
Pay & Schedule
- $19–$25/hour, depending on experience
