JOB TITLE: Treatment Coordinator
SUMMARY: Oversite of assigned Treatment Coordination team and efforts. Effectively translate, to potential patients, the value of a treatment plan and financial commitment in a professional, private and compassionate manner that results in agreement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with patient check-in, reviewing account balances, scheduling appointments and all other front office tasks.

Point of escalation for team and patients for guidance in troubleshooting issues and resolutions.

Conduct initial needs assessment with the patient and educate on first exam.

Present exam results, treatment recommendations, benefits, risks and alternatives to plan with patient.

Review the financial breakdown to the patient of the treatment fees, insurance benefits, other financial options, and the office collection policies.

Serve as the front desk backup when necessary (due to team members’ PTO or busy clinic flow)

Receive completed contract from patient and schedule treatment appointments.

Update patient records as necessary.

Follow-up with Patient Services and patients for receipt of new patient packets, any cancelled appointments, and insurance benefit issues.

Create and present reports as requested by manager.

Help maintain the cleanliness of all areas of the office.

Continuously educate self on new procedures to educate patients successfully during consultations.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

At least 4 years in treatment /financial coordinating.

2-3 years clinical experience in dental or orthopedic practice preferred.

Computer skills preferred: Dolphin, OrthoFi, Microsoft Dynamics CRM; Microsoft Outlook & Excel.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred but not required)
