Duties
- Conduct outside sales activities by reaching out to prospective clients through telemarketing, community events, and networking to generate new business opportunities
- Engage in retail sales by presenting insurance options clearly and confidently, ensuring clients understand coverage benefits and options
- Negotiate policy terms with clients to find mutually beneficial solutions that meet their needs while aligning with company guidelines
- Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
- Utilize analysis skills to assess client risk profiles and recommend appropriate insurance products including health, life, auto, or property insurance
- Communicate effectively with clients in multiple languages or bilingual capacities to serve diverse populations
- Support marketing initiatives by promoting insurance products through community outreach and digital channels to expand our customer base
Qualifications
- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills to build rapport and explain complex insurance concepts clearly
- Familiarity with sales administration processes and customer service best practices
- Strong analysis skills for evaluating client needs and recommending suitable insurance solutions
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus for handling sensitive health-related information responsibly
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism
